Anatomy Studies - Arms

I haven't given up I've just realised that drawing takes longer than planned when I'm distracted by other things and scanning is a bitch. Anyway these are the upper arm studies that I've done over the past week. The next few days will involve me attempting to study, sitting an exam and starting to get REAL serious about finding a proper job (so that I can accquire money and survive) so I don't know how much time I'll find for art but chances are my next post of work will be a little while away as not only do I have to draw but I have to get up the motivation to scan them onto the computer.

The next lot of studies will be the torso (male torso for now as that's what is in the book I'm working through).
In other news, I've enrolled into a drawing short course at RMIT for around september to try and improve my foundation drawing skills even more before I try to get into a proper course.

Relieved

So finally worked out how to size images without losing the quality AND approximately a good size to finally post work on conceptart.org

Feeling rather productive today working on upper arm and full arm studies that I will post soon as well as going through some Adobe Illustrator tutorials :D

Anatomy Studies - Forearms

My first look at the constructs of the forearm. This time I actually took more notice of what the bones and the main muscles were called as well as how they function.

Anatomy Studies - Hands

Here are the latest hand studies I've done from Bridgman's book. I don't think they're too bad copies however in some the hands look too wide. For the moment I'm just going to copy the images from the books as I'm just beginning with anatomy, but eventually I'll try and apply it to some freehand drawings from memory.

London Underground - Part 1

This year I've been doing some volunteer graphic design work for a new shoe company called "London Underground". The shoe designs are a bit alternative and stylish so I had to try incorporate the feel into the design. Here are a collection of designs I came up with for their logo (before the neatening of presentations):

Starting to get "Serious"

Here are some (mostly) recent anatomy studies using the books by George Bridgman. Sorry for any bad scan qualities.

Working Progress

At the moment I'm trying to do a study of Albert Bierstadt's 'Looking down Yosemite Valley' to get some practise painting in Photoshop as well as landscapes which I'm not very good at generating from my mind accurately.
This is what I've done so far, it's quite rough:

And here's the original painting:

Some Recent Stuff

Here is some stuff that I've done this year, experimenting with my new WACOM intuos 4 tablet:

Hello Digital Painting

So here is my first attmept at painting something using Photoshop. I don't think it's TERRIBLE, but I don't really like it.

Edit:
After posting it I realised it's the same colours as my blog haha
